Data Into Experience
What if data sovereignty wasn’t something you explained, but something you experienced?
For AI for Good 2026, Dorier’s Creative Technology team created Humankind, an interactive experience exploring brain data, consent and digital sovereignty.
Using EEG (electroencephalography), a technology that measures the brain’s electrical activity, Humankind transforms each participant’s live neural signal into a unique generative artwork in real time.
But the technology isn’t the point. The choice at the end is.

For two minutes, participants experience their brain activity as a creative input, shaping an artwork that has never existed before.
At the end comes one deliberate choice: contribute the artwork to an evolving collective digital fresco or let it disappear for good. The live EEG signal itself is never recorded or stored.
By making consent part of the interaction, Humankind turns an abstract conversation about neurorights and digital sovereignty into something tangible, personal and participative.
Technology translates the signal. The experience gives it meaning.
The outcome
Over four days at AI for Good, 159 people experienced Humankind. 141 chose to contribute their artwork to the collective fresco. 18 chose to let it disappear.
Those 18 matter just as much.
Humankind wasn’t designed to encourage people to share. It was designed to make choosing whether to share part of the experience. Brain data became art. Consent became interaction. Individual choice became collective expression.
