In just four weeks, Dorier engineered and delivered the large-scale event production for Pope Francis’ historic visit to Corsica, the first papal visit ever held on the island. The open-air ceremony brought together thousands of attendees and required seamless coordination across five interconnected sites.

The project demanded close collaboration between institutions, security forces, religious authorities, and local partners, all working under extremely tight timelines.

Dorier’s mission was to design and operate an outdoor ceremonial environment worthy of the moment, combining stage architecture, audiovisual production, and complex event logistics into a coherent and secure experience.

The outcome

Within four weeks, Dorier assembled and coordinated a core production team of 60 technical experts from across Europe, operating simultaneously across five locations to deliver staging, AV systems, and technical infrastructure.

The result was a seamless and dignified ceremony, where every technical element supported the significance of the moment. From arrival to final address, the event unfolded smoothly, safely, and with profound human impact.

The project demonstrates Dorier’s ability to deliver high-stakes event production, managing complex logistics, large audiences, and multi-site technical operations while preserving the emotional power of the occasion.
